We warmly welcome you to The Hermitage Residential Home which is situated within the heart of the market town of Uttoxeter. The home is run exclusively for ladies who need personal care and can also offer support to those who may also have mild to moderate dementia conditions.
The Hermitage is operated by Sonic Platinum Ltd, and the home has a long tradition of providing care dating back to the 1930's
Everything we do at The Hermitage is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our ladies and we want them to live independently for as long as they can, and to continue to enjoy life. Delivering modern care with dignity and respect and encouraging our ladies to exercise freedom of choice is at the fore-front of our philosophy.
Short-term respite care can be offered from time to time, but is subject to availability.
Family and friends are welcome to visit anytime.

The Hermitage is registered as a 30-bedded residential care home. All of the bedrooms benefit from being single rooms on the ground floor. 24 rooms have en-suite facilities. Each bedroom is nicely furnished and decorated. Ladies who reside permanently can personalise their rooms if they so wish with pictures, photos and ornaments. For the safety of our ladies, the entrance/exit doors are alarmed.
