The sun shone bright, and our ladies welcomed family and friends to The Hermitage Summer Fair. Great fun was had by all, we were joined by Burton Albion mascot Billy Brewer, there was a bouncy castle, cake stall, bottle tombola, grand raffle which the first prize was a luxury drinks hamper, kindly donated by the staff of the Hermitage, craft stall, refreshments, ice-cream and many other games including the very popular stocks, and thanks to some very wet and rather good sports (Louise Hurst, Ang Ashby, Charlotte Pearce, Lyn Watkins and Samantha Hurst) kept the crowds wanting more. Entertainers Trish and Dan sang with great voice and The Hermitage welcomed a new friend Mr. Phil Hudson from Shropshire and Staffordshire Blood Bikes with his Yamaha FJR1300 called Imogen. The children were allowed to look around her and sit on (Imogen) while their parents could find out about all the important work being done by the service. We would like to thank all that came out to support us and to all the staff who helped out on the day and behind the scenes.
