Open day 26th August 2019

The weather was with us once again for our open day as our ladies welcomed family and friends to join in the fun. We had a grand raffle with the first prize being a luxury drinks hamper, kindly donated by the staff of the Hermitage bottle tombola, cake stall, refreshments, ice-cream, wacky races and many more. Burton Albion hosted a ‘beat the goalie’ game. Accordionist Robert Burton gladly provided the home with live entertainment. Back by popular demand (but not for some) was the stocks!!!!! Thank you once again to some rather wet but very good sports (Matt Ashby, Samantha Hurst, James Hurst, Archie Stubbs, Alice Wood and Charlotte Pearce) for making it fun.

If you look closely you just might be able to spot ‘Strawberry Shortcake’ (Activities Co-Ordinator Sue Woodward) on tour! and Care Manager Louise Hurst being just a little camera shy!

We would like to thank all that came to support us and to all the staff and their families who helped out on the day and behind the scenes.
