Making the decision to stay in a residential home is not an easy decision. We are very sympathetic towards residents and their families at this difficult time, and we will provide support to ease the transition.

Our philosophy at The Hermitage is to ensure that everything we do is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our ladies to lead contented lives. Guiding us every day is each ladies care plan. This contains a full assessment of individual physical and emotional needs, a statement of any special risks faced and a record of personal progress. We want our ladies to live independently for as long as they can, to enjoy life and to feel valued. We can achieve this by supporting each lady with a high quality level of care and comfort at The Hermitage.
A board of local trustees administers the charity in accordance with charity law, and they bring a range of social, professional and business experience to the home.
